Andy Nguyen has been a committed community servant leader in Tarrant County. He is also a successful business owner with a strong background in management and leadership. His business experience and entrepreneur spirit give Andy a unique insight into the opportunities and challenges facing Tarrant County. The unprecedented expansion of the federal government, the uncertain economy and the slow employment growth constitute a great challenge for Tarrant County. Now is NOT the time for “business as usual.” Now is NOT the time for complacency. Now is the time for proactive and innovative leadership from the Commissioner Court. Now is the time for the tax payers of Precinct 2 to demand true representation. Now is the time for a new leader, who believes in serving the people as a way of life, not a job. As your County Commissioner, Andy will represent the tax payers of Precinct 2 as follows:
- Provide proactive, accessible and full-time representation.
- Be prudent with your tax dollars by working hard to cut expenditures and lower taxes where possible.
- Efficiently and effectively deliver county services with a personable approach to customer service.
- Engage the business community to promote economic development and commercial expansion that creates good-paying jobs.
- Establish Town Hall Meetings to get public feedback on important issues for Precinct 2.
- Work with the Commissioners Court and the leadership at JPS to improve access to healthcare and the quality of patient care within Precinct 2.
- Strive to achieve financial transparency, efficiency and effectiveness.
