Thank You for Your Support
Arlington March 8, 2010
Dear:
- Fellow citizens and tax payers
- Fellow conservatives and Republicans
- Community, civic, religious, business and city leaders
- Business associates and colleagues
- Volunteers and friends
Facing a 20-year incumbent, together, we have redefined conventional political wisdom, built an effective and spirited grassroots conservative campaign, and finished first with a commanding 10-point lead over my opponent.
This feat would not have been possible without your enthusiastic support and dedicated participation.
I humbly thank the hundreds of volunteers who have joined me in meeting and listening to the concerns of our constituents throughout the district and sharing with them our positive vision for true representation.
I greatly appreciate the support of many conservative leaders like former State Representative Bill Zedler, former Arlington City Council Member Steve McCollum, and Arlington City Council Member Robert Rivera. I am proud and blessed to have the support of many conservative organizations such as the DFW Conservative Voters, the Heritage Alliance, and the Women’s Reformation Movement that believed in my commitment to "traditional family values, low taxes, and limited government" and my ability to bring proactive and innovative leadership to the Commissioners Court.
I sincerely thank the countless number of fellow citizens who now participate actively in the civic process and embrace the conservative principles and values, who vote for this “political newcomer” because they recognize the soundness of my ideas and trust that when elected, I will always be accessible to my constituents and work with all stakeholders to deliver solutions based on the interest of the tax payers.
As a first-generation American and as a former US Army Officer, I love this country deeply. Service is an honor, and as your next Commissioner, I will serve you with integrity and dedication, and will use every opportunity to fight for and protect the freedoms that have defined me, and us all, as Americans.
The next benchmark is the run-off election on April 13. In the recent days, I have received the endorsement of my former opponent, Joe McHaney. However, your time, energy and financial contribution are still needed to ensure that we will be FIRST at the finish line.
I am proud to fight alongside you in this campaign. Together, let us finish strong and set new milestones for our precinct and our county.
Respectfully yours,

Andy Nguyen
Conservative Candidate for Tarrant County Commissioner, Precinct 2
