Andy Nguyen has my vote and here are the reasons. Andy is a business leader and community volunteer who is deeply concerned about the constituents and the future of our community. But, most of all, Andy Nguyen is a gentleman!
Recently, when I heard that Andy’s opponent, Marti VanRavenswaay , made a comment which can be construed as a racial slur about Andy, I was shocked. I have supported Ms. VanRavenswaay in the past. She has been on Arlington City Council PTA and has served on the Arlington City Council. I find her racial slur in a public County office not only distasteful but also totally unacceptable for someone in her position. At a recent public election forum, Marti did not deny making the racial slur.
In school, we teach children to be respectful to everyone regardless of their race or creed!
Please join me and vote for Andy Nguyen.

I am David Harris, Retired Republican Constable Precinct 2. I have met Andy Nguyen and his wife Julie, and I have worked with Marti for years. In upcoming runoff for commissioner, Andy Nguyen is the best and most intelligent choice. Andy Nguyen is a leader and a real statesman and Tarrant County desperately needs his leadership and management skills.
There are many reasons not to support VanRavenswaay, but the main one is that she is simply out of touch with her constituents. The choice couldn't be clearer -- vote for Andy Nguyen. I am also thankful that Nguyen is willing to thrust himself into the nasty political arena with his talents. I am looking forward to his service.
Andy Nguyen can be trusted and he is capable to lead us into the future. Again, please join me and my wife Edna and vote for Andy Nguyen. God Bless Tarrant County.
